The Flower Pendant Light: Charm and Lightness in Your Home!

Lightness and cheerfulness are two of the main characteristics that instantly come to mind when looking for a wire-hung lamp in a floral shape. Diffusing general lighting throughout the room, it is a pendant light model that will create a warm and cheerful atmosphere in a living room, dining room, child's bedroom, or hallway. The common point of all the flower pendant light models we have in stock is their light and clean colors. Indeed, these are models that fit perfectly into a light and contemporary interior, whether Scandinavian or Southern style. It is a piece of art deco that fits into a multitude of environments.

What material to choose for my floral pendant light?

Flower pendant lights are made from various materials. For vintage-style models, you will mainly find:

- Glass: Whether frosted white or sparkling crystal, it is a designer pendant light that our ancestors loved to install as a kitchen or living room pendant light. You can always pay tribute to the vintage era by opting for a wire-hung lamp model with glass petals! It is literally a timeless interior decoration.

- Metal: The floral-style metal pendant light brightens up an industrial-style interior with a softer and warmer touch. Indeed, most industrial chandeliers, wall lights, and ceiling lamps tend to be quite rustic and have an aged look (patinated copper, rusted metal...), but a beautiful floral pendant light in an aluminum design has all its charm!

- Wood: These are by far the most popular models! Pendant lights made of rattan and woven bamboo are incomparably natural and beautiful, with a sober effect in a living room. The advantage of wood as the main material of a ceiling light? Beyond its authenticity, it is its ability to reflect light to diffuse indirect and subdued lighting. The openwork look of natural wood lamps creates a warm atmosphere, especially when they are woven into flower petals.

- Fabric: Textile has the advantage of being very versatile and, above all, fitting into every room in the house.

- Plastic: Plastic lighting fixtures are good elements because they offer flexibility and resistance! ABS, polycarbonate, or polyester are economical and designer choices for your interior. In addition to offering a modern style, they can also recreate a vintage, industrial, or Scandinavian style depending on the shapes and colors chosen.

What lighting for my floral pendant lights?

Most flower-shaped lamps held by an electrical wire disperse the light flow throughout the room, creating intense general lighting, and rarely accent lighting except when it is a wall light. We recommend opting for a satin and cylindrical lampshade, to serve as a decorative and designer pistil. If the structure of the pendant light is a bare E27 bulb, then a smoked or tinted glass LED bulb type is a good option to avoid glare.

Also, make sure to choose a light fixture with a well-balanced shape between each synthetic petal so that the light flow illuminates each part of your pendant light harmoniously. If it is a small model, prefer a low to medium power bulb, and if the designer lamp model you choose is larger, adjust the size of the bulbs accordingly. This advice applies to any material that will reflect light, whether bronze, solid wood, or crystal.

Where to install my floral-style pendant light?

For the living room: It is probably the ideal place to install a wire-hung flower pendant light. Above a coffee table, an armchair, or a dining table, you will have optimal and cozy lighting above your head when you dine. Depending on the desired atmosphere, you can choose a natural material (wood, aluminum, linen, copper pendant light...) or synthetic designs (polyester, crystal, or porcelain). The size of your light fixture is also important, depending on the size of the room so that the number of watts and lumens illuminates each square meter with balance.

In a bedroom: Favor indirect lighting to promote rest. A matte white lampshade to reduce light intensity, or inverted lampshades reflecting the light flow on the wall are relevant choices.

In an entrance hall: To indicate the passage to your guests or create a warm cozy atmosphere, installing a flower ceiling lamp in a hallway is a very good choice.
